This webinar takes a detailed look at treatment of eye diseases with Acupuncture. We all as practitioners of Acupuncture find treating eye diseases very difficult.
Particularly, the needling around the eye is very difficult and I have specially shared a new method of needling which is very comfortable to the patient. Newer protocols like "Shell Moxa" and newer points on the "PALMS" AND "SOLES" will also be explained in this webinar.
Retinal diseases covered in this webinar include retinitis pigmentosa, optic nerve atrophy and age related macular degeneration. Glaucoma is another problem where Acupuncture is very useful to bring the eye pressure down. These protocols will also be shared in young children who develop Myopia. Acupuncture has shown excellent results. The special treatment protocols used in treating Myopia will be also shared.
The exact location of the newer points on Sole and Palms are also very useful and use of Soft Lasers at these points also gives very good results. Needling on palms and soles is painful and so Soft Lasers is the best alternative to treat these points. Dr. Raman will be visually presenting this protocol in this webinar.

This webinar will be covering most of the common diseases of eye, particularly diseases of the retina which cause deterioration of vision.
15 min - 30 min
Optic nerve atrophy, macular degeneration and retinitis pigmentosa are very recalcitrant diseases and the objective will be to share treatment protocols which can improve your clinical outcomes in the problems.
30 min - 45 min
Intraocular pressure problems like chronic glaucoma can be effectively tackled with Acupuncture. I will be sharing treatment protocols for the same.
45 min - 1 hrs
Childhood myopia is another very common problem. The causes and treatment will be shared in detail.
