Visão Geral Do Curso
The medical interview is the practicing physician’s essential tool for developing a diagnosis and establishing rapport with the patient. In this discussion we will explore the Saam acupuncture tradition’s heart centered approach to the medical interview. These explorations will include guiding principles and reliable questions to facilitate this approach. Throughout the discussion a special emphasis will be placed on navigating the dynamic tension inherent in a medical interview. This tension exists between the physician’s task of eliciting specific clinical information alongside their task of facilitating an environment where a patient can spontaneously report relevant clinical information.
