Introduction to the concept of Shen, and Ht-9; location of this point, and its uses for treatment historically.
30 min - 1 hrs
In-depth look at Ht-9, and the use of Jing-well points. Different acupuncture techniques, such as tonifying, reducing, etc. will be covered along with discussion on relationship between pulse presentation and selection of acupuncture techniques.
1 hrs - 1.25 hrs
Case examples demonstrating how the use of this single point can provide emotional transformation, and affect a variety of conditions such as depression, allergies, memory loss, etc. Discussion of working with 'mind-body-spirit' transformation in acupuncture.
